November 5, 2011 - Barnyard funk on nose, sour cherries on palate, short finish. Although this wine is 30% Merlot, no noticeable presence in mouth - its ALL Sangiovese. Nice acids, a bit tart actually, without much tannin or warmth left. Pairs well with strong flavored foods - We had it with med spicy Grilled Sausages, Mushroom Risotto, and Radish Salad.

October 16, 2010 - Dark red. Fruits in the direction of cherries on the nose. Ripe dark fruit, medium minus accidity and almost non existing tannins in the mouth. Simple wine. Impossible to dislike, but there is nothing be charmed abouth eighter. A wine parallel to a Toyota?
Good match to pizza.
