February 12, 2024 - Superb. My last of five and the first one I've had since the previous tasting in 2013. Final bottle, and yes, it was definitely worth the wait. Great color, freshness and oh so much grace and complexity. This shows at such a high level with so much freshness still that I'd think another decade of superb drinking is yet ahead. Purposely waited to enjoy this with special friends and it did not disappoint. That I got them for $35 seems criminal. 13,5% abv. highly recommended

April 10, 2013 - Aerated to decanter 1 hour, this continued to unfold for the next 2 hours. Lanolin, sea spray, faint honey notes, steely, herbal, wool, loads of acids and bright, still youthful fruit. Even more interesting and enjoyable as it warms, breathes, this has another 5 very solid years ahead of it. Great tension, precision. Superb, and, of course, highly recommended. 13,5% abv
