December 29, 2014 - Raspberries are apparent at the chest before being overwhelmed by the pepper at the nose.
High acid and bitter finish. Found the wine to be very coarse and bracing. Deep thermo from overbearing alcohol.
Unbalanced and no finesse. Didn't enjoy. -

November 6, 2011 - Shows pure, ripe Washington fruit. Very approachable and a solid value.

November 5, 2011 - Very easy to approach, lots of ripe fruit. The plum is dominating, both in nose and taste, almost port-like. Good value for money.

January 5, 2011 - Open on the nose giving crushed red and dark berries, liquorice, apple core, slight florals, meaty nuances and dusty chocolaty oak.
Medium to full bodied with balanced acidity and pretty smooth tannins. Somewhat meaty and juicy feel with notes of vanilla oak, green olives, smoke, white pepper and stone dust towards the mid-length finish.
Rather pure Syrah-aromatics with some oak notes. Nice QPR and not pushing it.
