July 16, 2013 - Wow. Nice combination of honeyed apricot in a medium plus bodied mouth full of properly aged flavor. Mature golden color. Still youthful, very expressive nose of glazed honey, mulled apple, orange peel, lemon and apricot. The fruit profile is almost like late harvest, old vine, high elevation, concentrated mango, pineapple and marzipan in a spicy brown sugar bath. Totally dry. Big mouth feel. Superb acid balance, so far this wine is almost timeless. The finish has an earthy, sassafras root, shale and spicy influence to some ripe peach and pineapple that lasts for several minutes.

September 27, 2012 - medium gold color. pnp, split a bottle over dinner for 2hrs. whitre flowers, citrus, green tree fruits, stony minerals. the palate is crisp and refreshing, excellent baklance, medium body, consistent fruits, with a clean long finish. just a hint of spice. really drinking well.

July 19, 2012 - Superbe. À maturité, prêt à boire, mais tiendra encore quelques années.

April 5, 2012 - a finetuned wine; old winter apples and other pleasant aromas, with charming weight around the midriff, acidity that has calmed down quite a bit - this is well into its peak.
