December 26, 2019 - A Boxing Day Dinner with friends (at home): Classic Rheingau Spätlese, playful and juicy, marries intensity and elegance, lovely freshness, greengage and peach, citrus (lemon, bergamot), creamy texture, aromatic green herbs, on the finish there still is some sweetness to resolve, excellent length. Showing well, should continue to develop well over the next 10-15 years.

October 24, 2015 - Appearance: Bright and clear, it has medium gold color, with thin watery rims and legs.
Nose: Clean, with pronounced intensity of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of muscat, stone fruit of peach, floral notes of acacia, maturity notes of honey, tropical fruit of pineapple, mineral notes of stony, dairy notes of cream. The wine is developing.
Palate: Sweet, with high acidity, the wine has low alcohol and medium (+) body, demonstrating medium (+) intensity flavors of citrus fruit of lemon, stone fruit of peach, tropical fruit of pineapple, floral notes of acacia, maturity notes of honey, mineral notes of stony, dairy notes of cream. The wine has long finish.
Conclusion: Very good quality German Riesling with a very intense nose, with good complexity, demonstrating how the best Spatlese can perform and on the palate the sweetness is balanced perfectly with the acidity, with impeccable refreshing sensations, built on concentration flavors and good complexity, with a long finish. It is ready to drink now though can further develop for another 8-10 years. -

March 30, 2012 - Cervinia & Zermatt Ski Trip; 3/29/2012-4/1/2012 (Zermatt, Switxerland): Proper spatlese sweetness here , well balanced and with lots of depth. Lovely petrolly nose stayed in check for more than an hour. Lots of life and vitality here too. Very nice. 92
