October 12, 2023 - excellent older Napa cab. aromatics were off the charts. some earth and smoke but also some green olive. lower ABV showed thru. still fresh with mostly red fruit and bright acidity on the finish. dusty Rutherford tannins provide plenty of grip. easily glide to its 20th b-day

August 14, 2018 - WOW. This was off the hook tonight at Ocean Prime Naples FL. 96 may be low. Crazy smooth from start to finish. Like silk. Massive depth and a long finish. This was one of the best bottles of wine I have had in a while. Outstanding!

August 9, 2017 - Menthol on the nose. On the palate, black fruit with some cocoa and an underlying note of something green and herbal when first opened; the green note had mostly disappeared by the second day. It seems to be early in its drinking window, with some potential for improvement over the next few years. This was very good, but only an average value given the price.

Bucking the trend toward richer wines, Grace continues to listen to the earth and take beautiful snapshots of vintages. The 2006 Blank, the family’s newest label, is a medium-ruby color, with dark-cherry, cocoa, and soft eucalyptus notes.
