September 28, 2009 - This is one young wine and it is without a doubt a mistake to open it now and over the next 4-5 years. It took this wine 3 hours to give me just a little window to the future - that's how tight it was. Pale straw. Subdued nose, if anything I catch a bit of lemon. Very restrained on the palate as well. Lemon juice and a steely minerality (not chalk or stone). Crisp and refreshing acidity. I think this will turn into something very pleasing with 5-10 years of bottle age.
