I liked earlier vintages better. Addendum: on the second day, there was no soapy nose or taste. Maybe it was the stemware. On day 2, the wine was more simple and bland, however. Probably not fair to score the wine under the circumstances.

  July 26, 2009 - Pop n pour consumed over 2 nights. Straw toward pale in the glass with a nose of banana, flint and some mown hay in the background. Nothing terribly complex here, folks, and only so-so as a food wine. Light + bodied, this lacks any real sense of place or varietal. A bit disappointed with this vintage, but will definitely try again when the '08's hit street. Approx $19.

  June 9, 2009 - very crisp. spritzery finish. muted nose. not too much aromas going on. apple and faint lime. would def go with food (mainly vegtables).
