  July 25, 2020 - I gave this wine 88 points on CT in 2009 saying “good but not as juicy as I thought - not too young either”. Now, eleven years later, I opened the last one and I wish I had waited this long on all of them. It’s full and rich and smooth and mushroomy and smoky. Just beautiful. A word to the wise for all of us who love wine: patience is a virtue!

  May 15, 2016 - Sediment filled dark red with just a touch of browning. It is a tasty mélange of purple fruits, especially plum peel.

  November 15, 2015 - I had this wine about 4 years ago and I remember distinctly the blood, iron, meat, green menthol tobacco. It remains present and at first might be off putting to some. The nose persists on the initial palate which evolves into chocolate with good acidity and mild tannins. The finish is tart yet pleasant and long lasting. This is definitely a good food wine and without food some may discard it and not see its value.
