August 27, 2013 - Didn't find this to be quite as good as my previous 2 bottles. Beautiful dark color, full-bodied and polished - but just a bit dull and lifeless. Lacks depth to its tangy blackberry and dark currant fruit. Not showing much in the way of length this time either. Could be on its way over-the-hill, or perhaps just an off bottle.

January 25, 2013 - Consistent with my prior note. Full-bodied, very dry and quite tart. Lots of tangy sour cherry, black currant and pomegranate character. I find this wine quite appealing, though it's easy to see why others might not. Finishes bone dry with a nice chalky minerality, but just a bit short. An excellent value at around $11 if you like this style.

November 13, 2012 - Lots of cranberries with hints of tar and vanilla on the nose. Silky and mouth-coating, offering a juicy combination of tart, tangy blackberry and currant flavors. There's excellent depth to the mid-palate. The extremely dry finish features fine, dusty tannins, but is slightly clipped. A bit more length to the finish and I would have scored this close to 90 points. Still very, very good and excellent value at around $11.
