October 26, 2022 - Lunch at La Trompette (Medlar, London): Firstadte of this, and whilst fully mature, it’s lovely. Mid gold. Rich, gingery nose. Fizz just about evident, and holding on by its fingertips. Surprisingly vital on the palate. Gentle ginger. Mid length. Lovely, but drink up. ****

October 31, 2021 - Honey, nuts, brioche. Long, lingering finish. Pleasant acidity. “Smells like aged Sauternes”, said a friend. Excellent

October 23, 2021 - First bottle of a newly delivered 6 pack was corked. Gutted!! 2nd bottle drunk over 2 nights. Golden color with a lovely mousse, on the nose lemon, brioche, some apple but no oxidation. Nice length on the palate and in the zone so enjoy them if you have any.

August 13, 2021 - From Magnum. Tasted alongside the 08 Coeur de Cuvee. Shockingly, this tasted like the younger wine and was still one of the highlights of the night. Full of verve and energy, sweet apple, soft honey, but loads of ripe lemon also. Fantastic balance on the palate, lovely mousse and fantastic density.

April 9, 2021 - PNP into 薄はり葡萄酒器 (“Flower” day): Medium golden to the eyes.

Reduction with cool breeze, saline that one can nose, very nutty. Yeast and biscuits.

Superb acidity well supported by concentrated mature fruits. Powerful indeed on palate.

    94 points.

Second round: white florals, more citrus peels, more forward than depth.
