October 29, 2020 - Holding up well, good fruit (cherries), tannin, and acid (tad of sharpness), medium body edging towards full bodied.
Pretty much agree with the others that comment, but extends this thru 2020 - very nice wine at this price

August 31, 2011 - Wow! One of the joys of buying and ageing wine is every once in a while you are rewarded many times over. Such is the case with this 2000 Bin 61 Shiraz from Leasingham. A deep and rich ruby red color showing little or no sign of age. Wonderful ripe red fruits on the nose with loads of spice and smoke along with subtle oak. The nuances of age are certainly showing in this wine as the tannins are totally resolved and it shows a very old world style of evolution. This is so nice to drink now but has more time before it fades. Quite a wine for $13.

April 17, 2009 - Outstanding....and as good as it's ever been, if not better. It's in it's prime drinking window and probably still has another 5-7 years if cellared properly. One of the best QPRs in wine....bought for $15 dollars (I should give it an even higher score for that). Medium-heavy bodied. Creamy, smooth texture, but still some tannins in the background. Well balanced, good structure, long finish. Lots of dark fruits, a touch of oak, hint of licorice, vanilla, and chocolate. Yum!

February 14, 2009 - Wow...wasn't expecting this from a wine I picked up at Costco several years ago. Forgot I had it. Chocolate, blackberry, spice and pepper. This was a wine that just kept on giving and evolving. Wish I had more.

April 27, 2007 - Very nice - nice hint of maturity over the cassis and blackberry fruit. Juicy and well balanced with soft dry tannins. Nice herbal stalky edge. Drinking about peak i think.
