April 1, 2015 - Similar to last note almost two years ago. Distinct cherry notes and typical Amarone "bitterness". But way too dominant alcohol that brings the wine out of balance.

July 6, 2013 - Once again I must conclude that my taste has moved away from Amarone. This wine is well made with clear cherry notes. Softens up with some air, but the alcohol is far too dominant which makes the wine appear a bit disjointed to my taste.

October 13, 2008 - Bouquet and flavor: Strong black pepper and concentrated fruit, tasty berries. I liked this one--wish I had taken better notes. Not as complex nor as long of a finish as Bertani but it cost a lot less at around 5000 yen. Moderately long finish.
