December 25, 2015 - At its peak, unctuous and well extracted.

December 28, 2014 - At home - splash decanted and drank over 2 hours, this one has been in the cellar for a while.

Decent color and nose - red fruits, cherry and coffee. Feel like this one doesn't have much in mid palate. Finish was medium. maybe past its prime - or wasn't ever there. Not bad but nothing special from this bottle

October 11, 2014 - Great match to pasta shells

December 27, 2010 - Decanted one hour. Strong rich cherry flavors right away. Took about 2-3 hours to really open up but when it did, it was outstanding. Great balance of red fruits and oak, tannins are still a little strong but if you like a tannic grip it was perfect. Finish was very long also. This wine kept getting better as it breathed but just when it was peaking, all the wine was gone!! It has plenty of life left and it should only get better. But if you drink now, give it a decent decant.

This is really nice on the nose with lots of coffee and cherries, some leather and oak.
On the palate, this is full bodied, very balanced, supple, classy with very good acidity and medium aftertaste. It also has nice texture and velvety tannins. Recommended! 91+
