August 15, 2017 - This wine burst of the glass with red fruits, sous bois, cinnamon, roses, and truffle. The palate was rich and concentrated with hints of minerality associated with CLDR. The palate has room to improve, but the wine shows tremendous length with structure for the long haul. With a nose this pretty its hard not to drink these. It's no surprise Truchot's wines have sky rocketed in price.

July 5, 2017 - Simple pleasures. Soft and supple, but not particularly complex. Warm light spice bouquet. Delicate soil tones on the finish.

August 19, 2006 - Very light in color. Very young. Surprisingly sweet, concentrated red fruit. Hints of bacon. Needs time, massively concentrated and structured.
