May 29, 2010 - Rich and luxurious. Surprising for a relatively inexpensive wine. Would definitely buy more if possible. Don't believe they make any more.

January 18, 2010 - Love this wine. Have been buying lots of this blend especially when we have cassoulet or other rich and smokey foods. Good wine on its own. Tastes like a much more expensive wine given the complexity.

February 1, 2009 - Cherry, smoke, vanilla, strawberry, black currant, some black olives. Very fruity aromatics and very nice. Med-full bodied, dry with moderate tannin and acidity. blackberry, black cheery, dark chocolate, tobacco, smoke on the palate. Exceptionally long finish of dark fruit.

December 14, 2008 - Intense fruit forward aromatics - cassis, cheery, strawberry. cranberry, vanilla. Very fruit forward and highly extracted nose. Some herbal notes. Medium-bodied with great acidity to balance the fruit and keep nice and fresh. Light-med tannin. Fruit forward on the palate with a little earth and toast. Med-long fruit finish.
Great match with marinated bison on the BBQ. -

October 5, 2007 - On recommendation from Goulie. Very good syrah. A little sour, but nice flavor. At $15 tastes much better than expected. Good QPR
