  June 16, 2023 - Still lively and delicious in 2023. Deep gold color, rich aromatics of baked apple, dried apricot, honey, orange peel, and butterscotch. Oxidized elements reminiscent of Olorosso sherry. Medium body, and the acidity provides a good frame for the flavor.

  February 15, 2019 - Lovely wine. One of the great white wines. Unique. The flavor has a slightly oxidized profile. Flavors of ginger, anise, quince, pear, and butterscotch with a touch of citrus. Ready to drink, but probably can easily go another 5 years. Great value.

  August 31, 2017 - This is a remarkably age-worthy wine. Tasted the 1999 side by side with the 2014, and the 1999 really did not seem more than a couple of years older. This is a very balanced and intriguing blend of Ribolla Gialla, Verduzzo Friulano and Picolit, all vinified dry.

  August 9, 2014 - Light floral bouquet. Hints of cooked apple and pear. Very nice with smoked salmon and a stracchino and radicchio piadina.

  December 11, 2012 - Much more youthful in appearance and flavor than I expected. Strong honey and lemon/lime on nose and palate. Color light gold. Decent remaining acidity and clean finish. Perfect accompaniment to a fresh tomato bruschetta with lots of parmesan cheese. It needs a little air to bloom and should be no colder than cellar temperature. Very nice wine.
