March 25, 2017 - Syrah Dinner at Home: Wine of the night. This was silky, complex with a whole host of tertiary aromas. Red fruit spiciness all but just a hint remaining. It needed about 3hrs to open up but after that, just ethereal juice!

January 30, 2017 - Wow the nose on this was the most extreme I've smelled. A mix of cow poop and freshly grounded pepper, too much of it. It tasted better and was actually nicely balanced. Just difficult to abstract from the nose.

November 30, 2015 - Surprising wine. Stored passively for last 5 years in not the best conditions in my home but drinking very well. I don't see huge upside from here but maybe better stored bottles will be less evolved.
