January 1, 2023 - I thought this bottle was less than it should have been. Drinkable but oxidized enough that it didn’t wow any tasters in a group of 10, save one whose palate tends toward madiera.

November 1, 2021 - Excellent. Decant for at least 2 hours. Pineapple on the nose along with light fruit. Just wonderful

September 16, 2019 - Sweet raisin the nose and palate; started slow, but opened up beautifully; great balance, long finish.

May 27, 2018 - A perfectly lovely wine. Even better than last time I had this vintage. Fruit is a candied cherry and plums with enough acidity and dark stoniness to finish so nicely. It's better than the best Amarone from any other producer in my book (Dal Forno doesn't count since they are so massive that they are in another category altogether and not for dining in my experience).
