  June 11, 2019 - Well this was our last one of the 2002's. Still going strong! Good dark fruit with a strong licorice taste and nose. Some may not like that but we love it! On to the 2005 Tesserae!

  July 5, 2014 - Had this wine last night with filet mignon. It was quite good. Black licorice on the nose and finish. Dark fruits in layers. I did notice that the cork was starting to get a little soft on one end so I'm going to take that as a sign not to wait much longer to drink the rest.

  May 25, 2013 - This is a great wine. Great balance of fruit and tannin. Hints of eucalyptus on the palate. Have been tasting this wine the last several years. Mellowing out now and really drinking well. Has a couple of years left before it hits the other side of the hill.

  October 27, 2012 - Open for 3hrs, decanted another hour, could have used a bit more too. Amazing for 10yrs. Will hold the second bottle another year.
