May 27, 2017 - Aged beyond the point where it is even interesting. Probably was at its peak about 10 years ago. Dull color and a nose of dried prunes and 4 day old Port. Palate was flabby and uninteresting. These are done.

March 6, 2010 - @ Mr Chows'. David's wine. Decanted for 1-1/2hrs. Initially sensed VA(nail polish), but after 1/2 hr in the glass determined it was just excessive oak. Savory forest flavors. I wouldn't buy this wine so I can't give it a 90. Clearly inferior to Merry edwards 99 Olivet Lane we had 2 nights previous(as was the 02 D'Angerville clos des Ducs).

May 23, 2009 - Medium ruby. Dark berries, cola nose. Slightly out of balance for me. Maybe more time will mute the acidity, that is present now. I think the wine will improve with time.
