September 1, 2019 - A bit muted on the nose but nice, ripe fruit on the palate and a lovely spiciness. A bit further evolved than last bottle. Great for a entry level burg.

May 11, 2019 - A 13 year old bourgogne rouge from a lean year? Is it even drinkable? My expectations were quite low but this is still drinking very well, feels young even. Good fruit and structure. Medium lenght. Not a big wine but a nice surprise nonetheless. Very good for its level.

November 14, 2011 - what a lovely bottle of bourgogne! clear, bright, classically structured and adorned. beautifully sculpted taste profile, playfully light in the mouth and shortish on the finish (just a bourgogne, after all). beats many a 1er cru by lesser producers. well done!

May 9, 2011 - The wine needs more air than pop/pour at dinner might allow. Good value on the wine list at Bourbon Steak, and pretty good wine though not a wine I would add at home. And based on that I would say it falls off my personal scale. It's tart and has some good pinot traits, but a little light on fruit, and little heavy on damp/earth and short on the finish. That said, based on price this was bringing up the south end of the wine list and that was a heavy factor AND they were out of the 1/2 bottles of Frédéric Magnien, so backed into this.

April 5, 2011 - old world with short finish, but smooth tannins. no in your face fruit. good everyday wine. with mediterranean chicken
