Community Tasting Notes 3

April 2, 2016 - It's fun to hold a few bottles in the cellar to see how they age. This was a pleasant surprise. Light body, mature to a muted color of light pie cherries. The light pie cherry flavor is in the forefront along with some strawberry. This wine is definitely nearing the end.

May 31, 2013 - Color is brownish red tea. Nose is light rose with some dust. Palate is light to medium, finish is slighly acidic. Not offensive but not very interesting either.

January 23, 2010 - Italian Varietals from WA/OR/CA and Italy...Blind; 1/23/2010-1/24/2010 (Eastside Wine Storage): This was really delicious to begin with, but faded very, very fast. By the end of the tasting, I revisited and it had died on the table. Sad. Notes from the initial tasting (opened maybe 1 hour prior to pouring).
Very light brown in color, this had the look of a wine over the hill, and in fact it was.
    nose: strawberry jam, unmistakable.
palate:black tea (sorry, Cindy), some strawberry, tannin so light it was nonexistent, very ethereal in weight. Hard to guess blind - who knew WA Nebbiolo would age so fast?
