May 11, 2017 - PNP. Despite its age this is in pretty good shape. Has obvious oak and central coast ripeness but manages to keep it all in balance. Nice but wouldn't hold much longer

December 30, 2011 - drank my last 2002, and it is showing beautifully:) No signs of aging and could go another 5-7 years easily.

December 7, 2011 - Wonderful silky smooth, dark berry fruit, KILLER smoky tar funk, as well as a dusty powdery white pepper spice. Good dose of tangy acidity, dark chocolate brownies with raspberry sauce, florals galore, some grilled meat. This wine is still quite big, yet it is SO well balanced and smooth...should have no problem with 10 more years on it! Great wine!

November 27, 2011 - EWG Dealer's Choice (A/K/A Bistro, Pasadena, CA): Dark complex nose with a good dose of brett that starts taking over. Very nice palate feel with the dark fruit actually still seeming young. The brett is present here also which really drags this down. The level is high enough that it over powers the expression of the wine unfortunately as there seems to be something very nice underneath.
