November 14, 2012 - Last bottle of this one. Still in perfect shape despite its 8 years. Big fruit but not jammy. Nice spicy notes. A wine that was just plain fun to drink. The best entry level Douro I have ever tasted.

June 2, 2010 - Bits of cinnamon on the nose initially that turned to licorice and then other spices. Black fruits with a nice dry finish. Slighty hot. Enjoyable and a great QPR. Sadly our last bottle.

July 19, 2009 - I am not sure if the last bottle of this we had was flawed or if this has just improved over the last year and a half. This was very solid with nice dark fruits and nice integrated tannins. I did not notice the alcohol or rough edges that my last note mentioned. Very enjoyable
