February 13, 2024 - Medium-dry there were flavours of quince pear enriched with wax and cream. Extraordinarily, this had taken on the autolytic characters of an aged Champagne that had since gone flat. The length and balance though were surprisingly still intact. Interesting. CHP 89 pts

May 23, 2020 - This bottle was sound though the cork was in poor condition. As one comes to expect, really not much sweetness left after 34 years but great acidity which made it an excellent pairing with Montgomery's cheddar. Love these old moelleux wines.

September 6, 2019 - Complex and belaying it's age. Not fully sweet but went wel with apple cake.

December 15, 2018 - HDH Dec auction trip/dinners at SKY and RPM Italian; 12/13/2018-12/15/2018: Quite liked this – it’s very funky with lots of that old Chenin wooliness and other savoury hay/straw like notes dominating, and lighter quince and peach fruit beneath. It’s modestly sweet – more like a ripe demi-sec than a moelleux, but nicely balanced with bright acids and drinking well now.
