  February 5, 2014 - The 2007 Hyde De Villaine Chardonnay de la Guerra is medium (+) yellow in colour with a nose of wheat and bread, pronounced light cream that lays over green apples, accompanied with some zesty lemon and lime. On the palate, an entry of buttery cream and chrysanthemum (white flowers some may say). There's also slight green grass over peaches and apricots as it progresses with some acidity coming up at the medium (-) finish.

  June 28, 2012 - Starting to take on aged characters of almond and honey, the palate is still fresh and precise on the finish. Those who enjoy a bit of age on their Chardonnay will really like this wine right now. I wonder how many years are left but I don't think it was built with that intent anyway. Enjoy!

  September 7, 2010 - Not quite as enjoyable as their higher end chardonnay, but still quite nice. A bit more oak here it seems. Fruit is still nice.
