June 1, 1989 - Beautiful garnet; bouquet is amazing, concentrated and complex: blackberry, violets, spices, blackcurrants, vanilla, earth, freshness; full, dry and rich, iron fist in a velvet glove, almost oppressive concentration and bitterness; very long. Immensely impressive.
