Community Tasting Notes 2

April 10, 2010 - Dark red in colour. Black fruits on nose and palate. With a touch of spice on palate. Nice acidity making it a great food wine. Again shocked at this style of wine coming from BC, and being so nice.

November 15, 2009 - Deep plum skin coloured core with a rustic crimson rim that shows a touch of age.
The nose is clean with lush blackberry, raspberry and current fruits with strong cedar and spice aromas.
The mouth feel is soft and dry while showcasing moderate drying tannins. Tonnes of black fruits and butter on the front palate with raspberry juice and sour cherry coming out on the finish. Quite a liberal smattering of oak that adds spice, vanilla and clove to the mix. Well balanced, the alcohol is well hidden and the acidity is moderate and keeps things from getting too chunky.
    Drink now - 2013.
