November 24, 2011 - Bravo for #Rhone whites. An example of how Roussanne holds up, and improves with age. Purchase 2.5 years ago at WBC, this Roussanne is tasting great, and life left in it yet. Great nose of white peach, almond, slightly floral. Viscous dense mouthfeel, with meyer lemon, honey, stone fruit. Great finish with nice acidity.

August 13, 2008 - Medium nose of citrus (mostly grapefruit) and alcohol burnination (like smelling brandy). At 15.3%, this is no shrinking violet. On the palate, tropical fruits (a lot of mango), medium acid, and a decent amount of heat. This was a little too hot and chubby for my taste. Take away a little burn and add a little acid, and I would be all over this.
