April 3, 2024 - Lovely wine for those who like their dessert wines sweet with a full body. No evidence this wine is going backwards in the bottle despite its age.

April 16, 2023 - From 375cl. Although I've drunk a fair amount of Noble One over the years this is my first note. Australia's best known botrytis wine, and reliable as always. 10% alcohol helps at the end of a meal. This is I think a little past its best I think. Rich ands enjoyable as always, but rather on one (very sweet) note. More complexity would help.

May 1, 2020 - Sweet tangerine, honey, golden raisin, barnyard hay, and hints of smoke commingle on the palate. Big, rich, and complex, and ample acidity cuts through, keeping it fresh. Easily competes with top Sauternes, and right in its prime window now - wish I had more.

December 4, 2019 - Lovely. Viscous and raisiny, but with complexity and good streak of acid to keep it from being overly cloying and flabby. Would be interesting to revisit in a few years.
