Community Tasting Notes 1

February 14, 2009 - My 30th birthday dinner (Restaurant Cofoco): Orange color from center to rim. Rustic country-side nose with barn, tar, cabbage, ammonium chloride licorice and roses. Still some red cherry first on the palate, but very rustic on the midpalate and finish with notes of tar, licorice and camphor. Very good length and super balanced with acidity and dryness. All together a very nice wine, where the complete picture is better than the elements apart.
