August 14, 2019 - Nose of black berry, same on the palate, medium/big body, old Cabernet taste, simple, tasty but tired, long finish. Uploaded photo.

June 5, 2015 - Some Grilling with the Toronto Cru (Toronto, ON): This pours fairly deep and inky. The nose is of vanilla, coconut, blueberry compote, blackberry jam, licorice and blue cotton candy. not overdone but heavy on the fruit and oak, still not totally integrated and really lacking he savoury edge I look for in Cabernet. Others have had better showings of this wine.

May 18, 2015 - In a great place right now. Black currant, plum, some smoky, meaty notes, cedar and dill from the oak that slowly transformed over the course of the evening into cigar box notes. Excellent acidity, well balanced. Good body but not an OTT Cali Cab. It has a restrained style. Superb value.

March 10, 2014 - Absolutely gorgeous wine! Purchased on release at the winery and perfectly stored. Initial beautiful fruit with lots of vanilla cream and chocolate. The creamy chocolate and fruit continue through to a long finish. Tannins mellowed and body perfect for this drink-me-now wine which will probably last for a few more years if well stored.

February 20, 2013 - Opaque purple ruby; urgent nose of chocolate, mint, cedar and bright cherry; mouthfull of well-masked alcohol and fine spicy tannins; perfume wafted for hours from glass on table ~ 4 ft away while catching up on DVR'd "funnymen" Stewart and Colbert.
