October 12, 2015 - Sweet, pure, even and complete. This is an engaging, ethereal wine with complex aromatics of ginger, red and black fruits and dried flowers. There's no artifice in the mouth, just pure fruit and a wonderful silky feel. It is fresh and invigorating, filling the mouth with highly perfumed flavours and finishing bright and clean, leaving an umami footprint once swallowed.

September 7, 2012 - Østkantsmaking: (Servert blindt) Medium skulder. Dyp rød, rødorange med brunet kant. Avgir først svidd treverk og skogbunn på nese, men etter hvert nydelige, søte røde bær, paprika, søt tobakk og velhengt kjøtt. Kompleks. Noe flat og tynn fruktkjerne, men holder absolutt stand. Toner av brunet bærfrukt. Overraskende frisk. Ingen tanniner igjen.

September 7, 2012 - Seven Decades of Right Bank Wines (Trondheim, Norway (my house)): Mid/high shoulder fill. Still some red, long bricking brim, dusty tannins, fresh and long, moderate length, forest floor and flowers (!), slim – but not thin.
