November 5, 2015 - 2015 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/3/2015-11/9/2015 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Beautiful youthful nose displaying crushed blackberry, mineral, black pepper and a hint of Vosne spices. It still doesn’t show any sous bois or truffle. Very polished palate, candied black fruit driven palate impression, strong presence of mineral, just right amount of acidity and minerals and lovely seamless finish. Certainly not a big scale wine but harmonious and really enjoyable. This is a very pure, precise and energetic wine that reached the first stage of peak drinking windows.
