November 9, 2013 - An unexpected surprise, this wine has become superb after a decade in bottle. Long, concentrated and nicely balanced between tartness and sweetness. A tiny bitter fruit taste at the end that is arresting rather than unpleasant.

November 25, 2010 - Two years on... this is still a beautiful Riesling, more integrated and complete wine, seamless. But I think I prefer this in adolescence. The elements that defined its prior complexity are less clear, and the acidity has less cut. Very curious to see where it goes.

August 8, 2008 - Given 7/17, probably not a big surprise that I opened another one. Same result. This is so much better than crack.

July 17, 2008 - Exquisite, complex nose of petrol, honey and orchard fruit. Sweet white peach, clover, honey in the mouth. And a beautiful limy acid that's like meth. You just want more. An underlying, tantalizing saline minerality. Integrated and balanced. This almost made me want to cry. It's that good.
