Community Tasting Notes 2

December 23, 2011 - From a magnum. Fantastic nose of oak, black fruit and all spice. Great balance of tannin, acid and fruit with black cherry, blueberry and leather. Has some life left in it, much to my surprise for a '95.

September 7, 2004 - Despite my initial fears this wine is not dead. I am not sure, however, how good it ever was. The nose is the highlight with notes of chocolate, earth, flowers, and vanilla. The palate is fairly lush but like many older Washington wines it show too much acidity. This wine is drinkable but not particularly memorable.
