July 25, 2012 - Just a hint of bricking around a purple core. Rich nose of meat, blueberry pie, baking spice, and aged leather. Medium to full bodied, plums, blackberries, slightly tart black cherries, chalk, completely integrated sweet tannins, good acid, pipe tobacco, and a medium to long finish. I can't see how this could be any better than it is now. Wish I had more.

November 26, 2011 - Kinda syrupy and feeling like it's on the way down. Drink now if you're still holding on to any of this vintage.

    October 7, 2011 - Meaty.

April 2, 2011 - Little heat, not overbearing fruit, no tartness. No complexity. Overall a nice if not great Syrah. Good for the price. Not sure what the last taster found objectionable, perhaps it was the bottle or the storage. My cellar is pretty consistent in little temp variation, dark , etc. Some of the lower priced wines I've kept have seemed better than a lot of the reports I read here.
