November 28, 2014 - Starts off quite tight but after a couple hours breathing the flavours open up and sharpness dissipates

July 21, 2008 - This vintage is a 50/50 split between shiraz and mourvedre. Ripe nose with hints of over-cooked alcohol (again!) and a faint funky / brett-like character. Palate is much better with medium weight shiraz fruits shaped nicely with a savoury hint. I can't really pick a clear mouvedre character but this is not a criticism. I've really liked past vintages (2002, 2004) and I think this will be ok save for what i read to be excessive alcohol weight.
