September 22, 2017 - Used the Venturi which helped some by reducing the sharpness. Not much fruit.

November 5, 2013 - PnP at restaurant. I little tight right out of the bottle but only needed about 15 minutes to open up. The Cab franc (blue fruits with an herbacious/minty quality) were clearly present on this one in a pleasing way. Unfortuantely, with four people and a server who was a little heavy handed on the pouring, this one didn't last long enough to really see how it developed with time/air. This is in a very nice place, but doesn't seem like there is any hurry to drink this one.

July 14, 2012 - PNP, let it air out in the glass throughout a lengthy consumption. Powerful, thick aroma of dark fruit and subtle spice; very good. Taste of dark fruit, cherries and plumb. Some cocoa, and slight spice and woody component, thinning slightly in the mid palate (due to the primary grape being cab franc?), but the long finish had loads of smooth tannins, with a bit of cocoa, smoke, and cherry. Very nice now, may go a little longer, YMMV.

(VINOCE MT VEEDER RED) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-big, black currant, black cherry, exotic mint aspect as well ; TASTE-a MONSTER, very full bodied & luscious, TONS of flavor, coats your entire palate, extremely elegant, hicory wood & cherries on the finish, very new world, absolutely AWESOME, but EXTREMELY young (heavy alcohol & tannins), put away for 4-6 years for sure; GV-92/94
