Community Tasting Notes 1

February 26, 2007 - This was very good, much better than I thought it would be. I had it with a chicken stew. The wine had great perfume of dark berries and smoked meats. The fruit was supple with fine length. It also had a very nice earth component. There was a good bit of sediment however. I don’t think it would have gotten better because the fruit was beginning to fade and the structure wasn’t such that it would have gotten more complex before ultimately breaking down.
