May 21, 2006 - Another wonderful bottle - lots of rich fruit on the nose, with smooth fruits in the mouth led by blackberry, black currants, tobacco and a decent, lingering finish.

January 8, 2005 - TWC does Cal Cabs (Pat's): Dark ruby color, with leather, black currant and tobacco on the nose. Big black currant flavors, lots of good tannic bite, medium- to full-bodied and a nice finish. Has a quality and clarity of fruit that is hard to beat.
