November 10, 2019 - Ten year CdP and Bordeaux retro tasting (with ringers). Hosted by Grinner.

    Other wines:

Praise be the wine dieties (and Grinner) for providing such wondrously ethereal elixirs to us mortals.

November 2, 2019 - The Annual Lyon 10 Year Retrospective (Chateau Lyon): At this point of the event I'm not writing much, suffice to say it's like our last bottle:
It looks like a Madeira and has lots of overlap, just better! Roasted nuts, caramel, butterscotch, dried orange rind, and a hint of florals. Long and glorious! has 20 years. (888 views)

This was MORE expensive on-site at the winery last year...come on, really?!

    March 10, 2019 - An excellent port.

June 3, 2018 - Older Colheita Port Tasting (Sammamish, Washington): Bottled in 2016. Orange- amber in color. Caramel and pralines on the nose with a touch of spirit underneath. There is a lot of sweetness on this wine, which takes away from the complexity.
