September 14, 2020 - A full throttle CA syrah with a rich, meaty nose, accented by Herbes de Provence, smoke and anise. On the palate, this has a bit more subtle presence, with floral notes, black raspberry and tart plum. Finishes with chewy tannins and good length. Much better than my last bottle, and while not exactly my style, this is quite enjoyable and has aged well.

February 3, 2020 - Very similar to my last bottle a couple of years ago. Complex, mature syrah with style and complexity. Balanced. Nice stuff.

December 12, 2018 - Balanced syrah with notes of bacon fat, mushroom and earthy notes. Dark fruited with plus body but not flabby or sweet in any way. Really nice syrah! Well done Jeff!

October 25, 2017 - Opened up flat, but ready to go when we started drinking after a 2.5 be decant.
Not a ton of fruit here, and looking quite aged on the rim. Drink soon!
Black olive, spice, earth, mushroom, and some fruit. Secondary/tertiary flavors. -
