  January 15, 2023 - I had carried this wine back from Barbaresco in 2006. After reading the notes, I figured I should open it now.
  As typical, I had to give the wine some time to blow off its funk. The nose was dominated by black, licorice some leather and som fresh tobacco. I continue to drink well throughout the evening. It was a solid old wine, but I wish I had opened it a few years earlier. I’m sure it would’ve been spectacular then.

  September 16, 2017 - Perfect aged Barbaresco. Balsamic reduction, tart cherry, potpourri, pepper, and tar. Wish this producer was more readily available in the US because I would buy cases of it!
