March 23, 2023 - Superb nose, sweet leathery fruits, a touch of cedarwood, beautiful and charming! Orange rim, translucent ruby red in colour! Intense dark fruits on the palate, rich and full! Great stuff!

November 16, 2022 - Le Petit Mouton Masterclass and Dinner - BBR & Chateau Mouton Rothschild: Fairly muted nose, some mature earthiness with dark fruits. Palate dark fruit, some oak and smokey tobacco note. Good balance, acidity and freshness still. Not so complex and thinner compared to some of the younger vintages. Not the longest finish. Solid mature claret nonetheless.

January 17, 2019 - It is an unmistakenly Pauillac, displaying classical dark currant fruits, pure class, endorsing authority, so deep and intense, a cigar box like cedarwood, some alluring spices! The palate is equally impressive, rich dark fruits flavour, quite powerful and a medium finish, sadly, lacking complexity, personally I think it is at its best, can keep at this level for a number of years but I doubt it will improve! All in all, it is still a triumphant result!

August 31, 2017 - My onliest bottle, so no earlier notes. Very powerfull wine, still at it's peak.
    Decanted for 2 hours.
On the nose it had cassis and red fruits.
Drinking red fruits, combined with ceddarwood.
    Medium till long finish. Wow!
I would say drink untill 2020-2022

December 1, 2013 - Poured a glass using Coravin, very smokey on the nose, took a while to open up in the glass but when it did it was very fruity and went down well. Looking forward to my next glass.
