  February 4, 2010 - Medium gold. Nose of lemon rind, white pepper with a hint of florals. Burst of underripe grapefruit on the palate followed by clean minerals, lemon rind, and peppery finish. Medium-high viscosity (think chardonnay) but medium-high acidity that makes it refreshing and food friendly. Lost some of its charm after being recorked and refrigerated overnight. At $20 a definite buy. 90+.

  February 1, 2010 - Light golden color. Aromatic nose of citrus peel, minerals, clean laundry and a bit of honeysuckle. Similar flavors on the palate with moderate acid and a bit of back end spiciness as noted below. Medium to full bodied but very clean and crisp though. Enjoyable finish. A really well made white wine.

  January 19, 2010 - Full yellow. Beautiful pure ethereal aromas are nevertheless mostly low-toned and not hugely expressive, with some more mundande cracker notes. Glycerin is abundant and combines with a 3-dimensionally pleasure-giving sweetness to put a smiling face on what is otherwise a more mineral expression of Fiano than is typically found further inland in Avellino. I didn't find this to be the revelation that Ian D'Agata did, but it does compare favorably with some of the more vaunted examples from the aforementioned DOCG.

  January 5, 2010 - Drank at New Year's and after. Wonderful full flavor for a red wine drinker. Totally enjoyed it and would buy more.
