November 1, 2022 - Summer and Fall 2022 Wine Adventures (Corolla, NC & Three Rivers, MI & Dogwood Grove, VA): Such a unique wine for me, an almost 20-year old Oregon Pinot that I first drank in 2007 and loved so much I bought a box. Alas, this is the last of it, but it continues to provide drinking pleasure. Now it is quite soft but surprisingly long, with a firm structure and characteristics of raspberry and crushed stone.

August 10, 2009 - The third of four bottles consumed over time and I've enjoyed observing the wine's evolution. It no longer has the zingy freshness I enjoyed 2.5 years ago, but now offers a smoky nose and a graceful palate of dried fruit and mild spice. In general, the CT notes are spot on re: this bottling.

October 26, 2007 - Very enjoyable, Burgundian in style.

August 4, 2007 - Definitely left me wanting to know more about this property. A smoky nose with complex cherry and dried fruit aromas, maybe a whiff of tobacco and forest floor. On the 'less ripe" side of new world pinot, showing more vivid flavors instead of just smoke and dense fruit. Not burgundian despite the label's claim of dijon and pommard clones, but on the other hand, nothing to be embarrassed about. Reached for it to deal with salmon and a fruit based salsa, which it handled well, though it might have done better if it had a bit more fruit itself. 13.5%, all it needs.

May 17, 2007 - Velvety smooth. Lightly styled, cherry, vanilla, olives (strange but true) and light spice. Real pleasant mouthfeel.
