August 17, 2014 - This was one of our favorite pinots when we visited OR in 2012. We drank one last year and it was divine. Unfortunately this bottle was borderline corked. We waited too long on this one. Dang!

May 1, 2013 - Hearts Delight Collectors Dinner: Drank this with the wine maker - first from a 750 and then from a magnum over dinner. A more muscular Pinot while still a pinot.

August 31, 2012 - Decanted 1 hour and consumed over 7 hours. Best between hours 2 – 4; peaking at hour 3. Really ramps up in hour 3; showing fantastic concentration in both nose and in the glass. Very complex aromatic core of candied black cherry ; followed closely by intense elements of rust, ginger, and cola Top 3 that I’ve had out of Oregon’s ’06 vintage, and a real testament to what can be accomplished when owner/winemaker takes control of vineyard and puts an emphasis on high fruit concentration; focusing iinto small-batch, high-quality production. You can tell, there’s a lot of love behind the making of this juice! Definitely at its zenith, so drink ‘em if you got ‘em.

May 25, 2012 - A benchmark 2006 Willamette, with flavors of cherries and tea. Lovely texture, peaking now.

February 26, 2011 - 2+ hours out of bottle. Cherry, tea leaves and some smoke on the nose. In the mouth, there was cherry, cola (I liked that from earlier note) with licorice with spices. Mid palate picked up tea leave stems as acidity emerged. Closed with more red fruit. Nice mouthfeel, medium bodied. The layers of this wine are quite nice.
