March 20, 2011 - Dark garnet, pretty nice nose, black cherry, plum and some earthiness. It is restrained on palate, with strong spiciness, cherry and dusty notes. But the fruits diminished at the finishing, leaving a long and tannic finish. It tasted some fruits when opened but the fruits disappeared after 2 hours. I am somewhat disappointed that the fruits did not outlast the tannins. From a bottle picked up from the bin end sales.

April 10, 2008 - Bleh. Boring, hot merlot.

January 20, 2008 - Nice Merlot with some sweet cherry flavors. Only a little bit of fruit, nothing else interesting and a little hot on the finish. Not bad, easy drinking Merlot, but for $26, not a very good QPR.

December 6, 2007 - Nose of currant and black cherry /blueberry. Taste was dominated by heavy currant and nice soft round tannins with some vanilla oak. The wine has rounded out nicely and I enjoyed it. Finish is a bit tart, but after 20 seconds, thats not too bad.
